Why? Because if you work from your house you have more spear time, you don’t pay the commute, and this job can be a second one or a part time job. On the web you can find many jobs through online sites. When you apply to a certain job, especially work based jobs, you need to pay attention because some of them might be scams. The purpose of this job scams is to steal your money or/and personal information.
When you are searching for a good home job that pays good, you need to take a look at 10 points in order to avoid scam or fraud:
1. Check the title and description of the job. If the title is different from the job description you must be carefully.
2. Check the company website. Check the age of the website. who owns the website and where is hosted. If that job is a scam you will find some irregularities. Browse through the site to see if it has missing pages or missing links; a legit company will have a good site structure. 3. Check the e-mail and phone number. If the job hasn’t a phone number attached for you to call the company or the person who posted the add is most sure a scam. 4. Check the company background. Search after the name of the company and you will see if that company is legit or a scam.
5. Avoid jobs like “1k per day”, “200.000k per year” without any kind of work needed. If is to good to be true then perhaps it is. Don’t try to find any kind of job without work needed and which promises a very very good salary because you’ll find only scams or fraudulent jobs.
6. Avoid jobs posted by persons in another country or which involve transfers of money because this type of job, in must of the cases, covers another fraud. Not only you will be broke after this job, but you will also be investigated for fraud.
7. If you receive a job offer via e-mail check if the e-mail is legit. Check the ip of the sender of the e-mail. If it is different from the company’s IPs then you have discovered a job scam. In these cases the best thing to do is to report it and go to another job search.
8. Check the work contract. In there you may find some errors like: your name misspelled, some work conditions that haven’t been presented to you or some clauses which are hidden.
9. Don’t pay any taxes or commission upfront.
10. Keep your computer up to date. This mean that you must have a good antivirus, a phishing filter and an antispyware program because when you’ll search you will browse many sites and who knows, maybe some of it are infected or full with keyloggers.
