But now I’m back and I want to fight fraud even more and that is the reason that I opened the FRAUD SCAM PREVENTION FORUM. The forum is new so there are no topics there. From now on if you want to report a scam or a fraud please register and post in the forum with all the details. Why??? Because people will read your information and they will avoid to be frauded.

1. Scammers will try to trick you do buy something which is related to MJ and you never will receive that item after the money are send. Also, a few days ago has appeared a MJ scam wich involves charity. They will send a fake email that will redirect you to a charity page dedicated to MJ. You are thinking that you will do a good thing, but in reality the money will go straight in their pockets.

2.Spammers will use this subject to mass email you something related to MJ. In 90% of the cases you will be asked to download something and your computer will be virused and used as a spam computer.

Be safe and remember that any big event in the world will attract scammers and spammers because with a little content related to the event they can steal your money.

The biggest craigslist fraud is in the For Sale Section / Cars and Trucks. Here, from all the ads I can say that 50%-70% percent are fake. Soon I will release a guide how to spot those scams because I tried to fight back to them posting their emails here, but the emails are changed every time so is very hard to help people.

Another sections used by fraudsters are the Rental Section, Jobs Section, Resumes Section. With some automated software they can post daily many ads. Most of them are flagged by users, but some of it will remain alive. Another tool used by them is another automated program that crawls craiglist and gets the emails. With such a big list for email is really easy for fraudsters to steal your information or your money. With mass-mailing they can spoof any sender and send fake emails.

So the best fraud prevention method is research. You must check every aspect of the problem and for sure you’ll not be a victim.

All these scams and methods are old, but with a new design and content associated with swine flu your chances to be scammed are increasing. Don’t believe any vaccinations or methods to protect yourself from swine flu. Also try to keep your computer up to date in order to be more secure.

The big change that they made is the fact that the email isn’t anymore displayed in the add, so that it makes difficult for me to post it here and alert people about this ordinary scams.

If you read the news, 2 in 10 articles in the newspapers are about fraud. Every day, a new fraud story is on the front page. Fraud covers every field from identity theft fraud to insurance fraud or investment fraud. The purpose of the fraudsters is just one: MONEY. They use any method that can gain access to your information or to your money. They will never stop to try to get you. Some of them are using old methods which can still fool people, but some use new tactics that are unknown until then and have a good success rate. Don’t be afraid to fight back and to try to prevent fraud because this is your only chance. As you have seen, fraudsters are between us and they are hard to recognize for the “naked eye”. If you are a man that went through life and you don’t think that you can gain something for free, fighting fraud is a easy job. As I said previous, in any field, before you do a transaction (or anything) try to search information about the persons, the company or anything which is related. Try to think further, try to put yourself in the others place.

I hope that this article will wake you up and you’ll see things more clear and you’ll try to prevent fraud and to avoid it.

Investigation began after an observation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The hackers are accused for illegal  accessing an informatic system, fraudulent financial operations and money laundering. It seems that with some good skills in IT or with the help of some viruses, the hackers have done big damages to the pharmaceutical companies. Unknown sources tell that losses caused by this fraud are approximately $800.000

The following list contains just emails used by scammers on craigslist.org in the FOR SALE section. You can see here some examples of texts used by fraudsters.

Romanian police said that the hacker was caught with the help of the american ITs. The hacker has a MBA in the finance banks field. First time he entered the US security system of the department of defense  was in 2006. He has succeded to gain access to the servers with a custom trojan. The hacker was hard to find because he used japanese servers between him and the Pentagon servers. All the time he was very precautious and for this reason he deleted all the access logs.

All this time, the hacker made damages of $35,000, but the military information stored on the servers could have been extremely dangerous in wrong hands. The hacker is now in jail and he will be judged for his actions.
