  • Any “escrow site” that tells you to fax/email your payment confirmation is a scam fraud.
  • Never ever email an auction/ad  seller to an email address link listed in the auction/ad
  • eBay.com, Autotrader.com, Craiglist.org, Yahoo.com do not do escrow
  • .ORG named escrow and payment sites are all fakes, no escrow company would ever be a non-profit organization
  • Better Business Bureau does not do escrow
  • Never EVER use any service recommended by the seller
  • The real Escrow.com would never asks you to make the payment through WesternUnion/MoneyGram
  • Escrow sites with a dash in the name are a fraud (Ebay-escrow.com, Cargo-logistics.com)

    This guide helped me very much. I found a good offer on Craigslist.org, but it seems that was a scam. The steps used by fraudster I found it in the guide.
