Auction fraud refers to the people that are scammed when they try to buy something online, trough an auction site. Some sites/companies well know are eBay, AutoTrader, Craigslist, Cars where people sell and buy a big variety of objects from tickets to cars, planes or boats. We can stop identity theft

Identity theft is a term used to refer to fraud that involves pretending to be someone else in order to steal money or get other benefits. The term is relatively new and is actually a misnomer, since it is not inherently possible to steal an identity, only to use it. The person whose identity is used can suffer various consequences when he is held responsible for the perpetrator’s actions. In many countries specific laws make it a crime to use another person’s identity for personal gain.

Check fraud or cashier’s check fraud is a very profitable source of money for hackers. Let me to present this method to you. First, the hackers send thousands of e-mails with a job offer at their fake company. The e-mail shows like a legitimate job offer (which isn’t ) to a out-US company (like Spain, UK, Italy ) and it appears to be send by some of the biggest sites of jobs in US (which is also false). What you need to know about credit card fraud

Credit card fraud is the biggest and the most widespread off all kind of frauds. In general, the people who need this type of information (your credit card information or your banking account information), are well trained to steal. The credit card information is stolen from you through fake e-mails that redirect you to scams and fake websites. The e-mails you’ll get will be “pretty legitimate” like: from your bank, PayPal, eBay or any financial institution. E-mail fraud, in my opinion represents more then 50% of all the online fraud. This type of fraud involves scams, spoofing, lotteries, phishing, credit card fraud, escrow fraud, dhl/ups fraud, employment/business opportunities, investment fraud, reshipping, action fraud and many more or undiscovered tips.
